Healing from Light Wounds

The boxer had been receiving medical attention while healing from his light wounds, representatives stated earlier on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed in an update on social media that Joshua was judged healthy enough to leave and heal privately.

“Joshua and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two departed friends as they were being prepared for repatriation,” Omotosho said.

A Tribute to the Fallen

The two men who died were identified as Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the champion was filled with sorrow and full of emotions over the tragic loss of his two dear friends.”

This update on his health arrives after the boxing community had expressed sympathy for the champion in the wake of the terrible crash.
